The best attraction was a wishing tree which they provide tags and pencils to write a wish and tie to a branch. The locals-focused casino operator bought around 40 acres of land in the Skye Canyon community, in the upper northwest valley, for 36 million. There isn't much signage except the occasional 'do not enter' and also be careful not to stumble into the private residence when looking for the bathroom. There weren't as many sculptures on display but the grounds are beautiful to roam around at your own will or sit by the river and enjoy the fresh breeze. Unfortunately load shedding meant no coffee but we had a fresh OJ and medialuna which was a delicious Argentinian croissant. This gets you access to roam the grounds and on the weekend there is a pop up Pavillion Cafe which had coffee/fresh OJ/cooldrinks and sandwiches/freshly baked goods. Greeted by security and then a 'welcome desk' where you pay entry which was R120 each if no booking with the restaurant. The GPS takes you to the private residential entrance but there is ample parking a further down the road. We stumbled across Nirox as we had some time inbetween checking into our hotel so google mapped nearby attractions.
